About LAURIE
Laurie is a daughter, sister, wife, friend, mother of two, and a Registered Social Worker, whose past 10+ years of work have been focused on providing therapy to support the social, emotional, and mental well-being of children, youth, and young adults.
Completing a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto in 2011, Laurie worked for four years at Peel Children’s Centre in Mississauga, and three years at Sick Kids Centre for Community Mental Health, formerly the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre, before starting her own private practice.
In her role as a Child and Family Therapist, she has facilitated individual and family therapy, parenting support, multidisciplinary assessment teams, parent workshops, and clinical supervision and training for Master of Social Work practicum students.
